The 2014 Jackson Kayak Big Tuna is a creature unlike any other on the market, with multiple never before seen features in the kayak fishing world. Leading the charge on these unique elements has to be the ‘Tuna Tank’, a unique bait/live well that requires no plumbing or electronics! It utilizes the water from beneath the boat to circulate into the bait tank keeping fish lively and fresh unlike any other system on the market. The tank also resides in the center of the boat for easy access and management. The possibilities with the Tuna Tank are endless – bring the kids on a trip and have them catch cool creatures and learn about them while in the tank; keep your catch alive to show it off to your friends later before you release it; keep your live bait alive and fresh; insert the cooler option to put your fish on ice or just use it as a cooler for your drinks; insert the solid piece and use it as dry storage!
Jackson Kayak also brings the popular elite seats, with new rear and underside pockets, and new ‘Face time’ seating! Simply rotate the front seat around to face your boat partner in conversation while drifting some fresh live bait from the Tuna Tank and having a few cold drinks while you wait for that big pull down! Guide your friends, children and clients to the fish of a lifetime by controlling the boat from the rear seat while they enjoy the ability to fish without the worry of paddling. Of course, sometimes you can have too much face time and that is why the architects at Jackson Kayak have made the Big Tuna easily convertible and fishable in a solo version as well.
Other familiar Jackson Kayak features such as paddle holders, stagers, wide standing platform, front day hatch, drop down rudder, adjustable foot pegs and a drift chamber for a drag chain or anchor make he Big Tuna an angler’s dream. New features like tackle box stagers, closeable mesh side pockets, rod tip cover and long load safety flag only enhance make the dream even sweeter! Just like the Tuna fish is a unique, powerful force in the ocean, the Big Tuna will also be a force to be reckoned with in our sea of fishing kayaks.

The Big Tuna speaks for its self. There is nothing else like it. Sure I would like it to be more affordable. Delaware Paddlesports has the best price for shipping and even throw in a free paddle. From the second I placed my order I was informed via phone and email what was going on with my order.
I got the blaze orange color kayak. Man it is sharp. Delaware had to order it from Jackson. Overall it took less than 2 weeks for me to get my Kayak. There were some small cosmetic damages due to shipping. This was in no way Delaware Paddlesport's fault, but they still compensated me fairly.
This kayak/boat is heavy and its almost a must that I get a kayak cart. I'm 6'4 200 lbs and 24 yrs old and very atheltic. If you have 2 people then it's no problem. It just makes life easier with a cart. I couldn't be happier with the kayak. I'm going to take it to get a drink right now!

My son and I attended Paddlesport 2013 in NJ and we were shopping for a Tandem Kayak. We saw a lot of them but the Jackson "Big Tuna" stood out of the rest. We loved the High and low seating arrangement and also the Facetime. We didn't pull the trigger at the show, but after convincing my wife to take a look at the promotional video, she was happy with our decision. We decided to purchase the Big Tuna from Delaware Paddlesports, they were easy to deal with and they also gave us free paddles. Brian delivered the kayak to our home as promised and we are so grateful for the service that they provided. If you decide to buy a kayak, Delaware Paddlesports is the place for you. They are honest, friendly and they have the best deal around.

This is my first kayak. I been looking for a kayak, to do mostly fishing. I needed a family kayak, so after a little research and talking to Marty Cronin, from Jackson kayak at the Fred Hall show in Long Beach, I decided on the Big Tuna. I started looking for the best deal, and that's how I ended up at Delaware Paddle Sports. The price the same as most, but the shipping was, the cheapest that I found. No tax out of state. I got free paddles. The most important part, was the people at Delaware paddle sports, friendly , easy to talk to. I also got a discount on the scupper plugs and the cooler/fish bag that I added to my order. I like to thank Brian and everyone at Delaware Paddle Sports, for their help. Once again thank you and good fishing!!!
